Archive audio: Christopher Hitchens on the moral and political responsibility of intellectuals.
A journalist and author, Hitchens passed away on Thursday at the age of 62. The cause was complications from esophageal cancer, which he was diagnosed with while promoting his memoir “Hitch-22” in 2010.
In this 2010 interview on To the Best of Our Knowledge, Hitchens describes his engagement with the great controversies of our time — from the Cuban Revolution and Vietnam War, to the War in Iraq.
