Winter NAMM 2014: MXL Tempo is Perfect in Pink

The MXL Tempo USB Microphone gets a makeover in pink for the 2014 Winter NAMM Show.

El Segundo, CA (January 25, 2014) – MXL Microphones, leading manufacturer of microphones for the recording, production, post and live sound markets, announces the release of the MXL Tempo PG USB Microphone. Building on the success of the red/black and red/white Tempo USB Microphones, the Tempo PG has a hot pink body and gray grill.

“Pink is contemporary,” says MXL Director of Sales and Marketing Perry Goldstein. “We’ve learned from our red and black Tempo that people like color and they like products that reflect their personalities. The pink Tempo is fun and, most importantly, it’s a great microphone. It will appeal to young, creative artists who record their own music, voiceover projects or podcasts.”

The Tempo PG is a USB-powered condenser microphone that allows users to record vocals and other sounds onto any computer. This lightweight microphone makes it easy to record professional-sounding music and podcasts virtually anywhere without expensive studio equipment. It works with a wide variety of music and web chat programs, and it can be used with iPad® and other tablets.

The MXL Tempo PG features an integrated headphone output that allows monitoring of recordings without going through a computer. It includes a desktop stand and USB cable.

The Tempo PG will be shown at NAMM booth 6990. Its release is expected in Summer 2014.
