The Mighty Cash Cats will headline the event with their Tribute to Johnny Cash and June Carter show starting at 6 pm. Ventura was Johnny Cash’s home for most of the 60’s, where he lived on a hillside in the Ventura suburb of Casitas Springs. Cash’s office – one he shared with his manager, Saul Holiff – was on Main St., right across from the Star Lounge. He wrote some his biggest hits while residing in Ventura.
