Boris Records to Release self-titled Gunpowder Gray Vinyl LP
on Record Store Day, April 19

Boris Records will release GUNPOWDER GRAY’s self-titled EP on 12" purple translucent vinyl on Record Store Day, April 19. A free download of album track “Cut Me Out” – available at this location – set the stage. Now the Atlanta riff-masters are offering up the seven-song main event.

When they are not performing with Atlanta-based death metal grinders Disfigurement, vocalist Nate Godbee and guitarist Adam Besserer pair with three local punk veterans and dig deep down to the roots of heavy rock-n- roll as Gunpowder Gray. The group, which also features Sam Vaughan (bass), Chris Heffernan (guitar and vocals), and Biters drummer Joey O’Brien, captures the blues-tinged, riff driven sound of classic acts ranging from metal progenitors like Black Sabbath and Pentagram to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. On April 19, the band follows up its debut three song demo with a seven song 12" E.P., its first vinyl release on Atlanta’s Boris Records. Limited colored vinyl (100) will be available on Record Store day.
