MAJOR LEAGUE ENTERS STUDIO TO RECORD SOPHOMORE ALBUM

March 19, 2014 – Los Angeles, CA – New Jersey pop-punk band Major League has announced they’ve entered the studio to record their second, full-length studio album, which is expected out later this year from No Sleep Records.

For their sophomore effort, Major League is working with famed producer Will Yip (Title Fight, The Wonder Years, Balance and Composure) at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, on what is looking like will be their best material to date.

“We’re ecstatic to be heading into the studio with Will Yip to record our sophomore release for No Sleep Records,” says Major League singer/guitarist Brian Joyce. “We’re excited to show our bands true identity and potential. Lyrically this record is the most personal material yet.”

The news comes on the heels of the recent departure of singer Nick Trask, whose vocal duties have been fully embraced by founding member Brian Joyce, which was the most natural fit and decision for the band. The new record will give Joyce the opportunity to sing the songs he’s written and bring a new dynamic and emotion to their music.
