Question for the masses

So.. I want to try the crowd fundraiser thing again with indiegogo. . I have wanted to expand Xombiewoof Magazine to include a Record Label and a Television Channel, but it never went far enough. Can anyone give me some hints at making it a successful situation? My goal is to build up a great music scene, raise money to create jobs and promote music education. Help me out and give me suggestions.
