Fresh off the heels of last single “Guitar Muse”, London pop merchant The Cheek Of Her have returned with new offering “Another Guy I Buried In The Woods”; a cutting slice of acidic pop rage held beautifully together by Helen Dooley’s luscious vocals and flawless piano work.

“The Cheek of Her commissioned Pedro Chaves to make a lyric video for the track “Another Guy I Buried in the Woods” from her debut 12 track album “Adult Angst Anonymous” (2014). However, she ended up writing a very looooooong email telling a crazily creative, long-winded story with talking toys and the like, to which Pedro explained that this was no longer a mere lyric video but an actual ANIMATED MUSIC VIDEO! Pedro rose to the challenge and got drawing like crazy because he “digged” the tune (no pun intended!).

Combining elements of Japanese Manga style slash Disney heroine chic, a crazy bunny side kick and a beautiful but sarcastic ballerina accomplice who can’t get off her music box, as well as a cowboy dude for good measure – this isn’t your standard fairytale cartoon, even though the song is mighty pretty.”
