Hohner announces the launch of the new Red Dragon and White Cobra Tagged Harmonicas. Hohner’s newest harmonicas look strikingly different featuring brightly colored combs and patterns that were inspired by street art and skateboard decks.
“Get ready for some harmonicas with attitude,” stated Product Manager Drew Lewis. These new Tagged harps will inspire the musical development of a new generation of harmonica players. The visuals stimulate an emotional connection with younger consumers that will lead them to discover that the harmonica is an easy to play, cool looking instrument.”
“We wanted to celebrate the soul and spirit of the street artist,” commented Scott Emmerman, Director of Marketing and Sales. “Graffitti art, beat-boxing, rapping and jamming with a harmonica are all different branches of the same creative tree. We hope that these new harmonicas will inspire the creative spirit of musicians around the world,” he added.
The Red Dragon and the White Cobra Tagged Harmonicas are available in the Key of C, G and A at an MSRP $24.99 and suggested street price of $19.99. Launching along with the Tagged series is the free Tagged retail POP display which contains 8 units and is mountable on slat-wall or pegboard and can also be converted into a countertop display.
