Northwest Tour 2015
What a wild ride and an even more wild show. Kids in Reno are some of the most energetic that we have ever seen. The drive in was scary filled with cars on the side of the road and moments of complete non visibility. But going to Reno was well worth the drive. While there we got to meet a very cute dog named monkey. Thanks to Shane from bat country for putting on a great show.
We camped the night before just south of Eugene. It was cold so we woke up early. We were really excited about playing at the boreal. Eugenes infoshop. Boreal is beautiful. If you live near there you should spend some time checking out all the great things they have to offer. Everyone there was great and we got to play with a couple really fun bands. Punisher was a local band of misfits and The Ragshakers who drove down from portland played an absolutely beautiful set. Thanks to Dandy of driftwood records for putting on the show. We had a great night.
What can I say about Seattle other than we love it there. We have so many good friends there that it was hard to make enough time. The night before we drove in we stayed in a little cabin yurt thing which was very nice and refreshing. The show started late so we got to meet up with a bunch of our old friends and hang out. We played at FBK, a really cool punk house. The show went great, lots of singing and dancing. It’s always fun to play for kids that are excited. Thanks so much for that. In the morning we got to go on a really nice little hike and now we are just hoping to make it to Portland without being late for the show. Thanks to everyone in Seattle for making it fun.
