Each of the members in BLUESPOWER has an extensive music background. Cali native Kenny “Big Daddy” Williams has played in numerous bands throughout his career, and most recently co-fronted popular  Orange County group, Papermoon Gypsys. Williams is also an on-air radio personality at KX93.5 FM in Laguna Beach, where he hosts the “Laguna Blues” radio show every Friday night. Joe Dolci is an accomplished bass player, published songwriter and pianist, and a former member of Rod and the Pistons. Rich Smith, a Fullerton native, is an in-demand musician whose extensive resume’ includes stints with the Chris Anderson Group, Hollywood Blonde, and many more.

“BLUESPOWER was actually formed back in 1988 in Pasadena,” explains Williams, “but after our harp player (Brian Brazil) left for Philly,  we put the band on hold. Our philosophy back then was to stick to our Blues roots and try to take it to another level. Now, we’re back, and this time, for good”.
