Ghost Of The Avalanche – This Is Earth EP 10″ (Transparent Blood Red Vinyl)
Available from: http://greborecords.co.uk/GOTA-This-Is-Earth

Description: After 2 years on the road with the likes of Stiff Little Fingers, Pulled Apart By Horses, The Dickies and the Damned, noise punks GOTA have returned to the studio with producer Ben Findlay (Robert Plant, Peter Gabriel, Goldfrapp) with the aim of capturing the raw intensity of that live performance on record. The EP finds the duo experimenting with a darker sound, developing textures within their limited setup of bass, drums and vocals to deliver their heaviest yet strangely, most pop-orientated and dynamic release to-date.
The EP cover artwork was created by legendary 2000AD/Judge Dredd artist Shaky Kane who’s punk pedigree and striking individual style instantly made the band want to collaborate with him.

A limited pressing of 300 on Transparent Red, 10”, Vinyl will be released exclusively through Grebo Records during Independent Label Week 2015.

‘What a great noise – power, energy, commitment with a lyric that leaps straight to the jugular. For me this is pop songwriting at the diametric opposite end of the spectrum from Simon Cowell: fresh, vital, vigorous and huge fun, without an ounce of fat anywhere.’ – Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music
