In an Exclusive News announcement, LA’s four piece Dr Boogie is delivering their new single “Down This Road”.

The band site influences  from high energy legends ranging from New York Dolls, Dead Boys, Flamin’ Groovies, Sticky Fingers-era Rolling Stones and Chuck Berry, Dr Boogie lives vicariously and fiercely through the gifts their heroes left behind. A Vinyl/Digital/Streaming version of their upcoming LP will be available Nov 13th 2015 via Dead Beat Records.

This new album has the classic “Boogie Rock sound of the fabulous Pre-Disco Era, think of “That 70’s Show” and the great music of the early 70’s that was the voice of a generation. in example, the Dr Boogie song “Down This Road” is made to move you, very reminiscent of Heartbreakers, New York Dolls, The Stones, Jacobites, the Joneses, Mott The Hoople, Flamin’ Groovies, Alice Cooper and Bay City Rollers, just itch’en to get you to say “Play That Funky Music White Boy”

Dr. Boogie are blazing their own smoky trail of snarling guitars, whorehouse pianos and honky tonkin’ harmonicas that really impresses upon first listen. The vox are fabulously suited for this down and dirty style of gutter chic rock n roll. Each of these songs exudes top notch glitter-glam nastiness with a genuine sleazy, raunchy rock n roll authenticity seldom  heard in these cold, sterile times.
