Launched in 2013, NX Records – a collaborative partnership between Matthew Herbert’s Accidental Records and Goldsmiths – have continued to release a wealth of new music via the label’s ‘Crossing Lines’ compilation series. Having featured the likes of Holy Milk, Thefft and Bunki on past compilations, NX have also put out full artist releases including the highly praised debut album ‘Still The Waves’ by These Ghosts and the recent ‘When We Talk’ EP by London producer Semi Precious.
NX continues to unearth some of South East London’s finest and most exciting talent with its aptly titled third instalment ‘Crossing Lines III’. From the theatrical layers of Noh Dance and Slow Moon to the sultry pop of Le Son & Nyx, this compilation is as eclectic and thrilling as ever, demonstrating clearly the inspiring innovation and ambition of South London’s most intriguing borough. Not to mention new offerings from established label mainstays, Semi Precious, Tweed & Hyenas and Edward A Guy.
‘Crossing Lines III’ will be released on the 20th of November 2015 on limited edition CD, beautifully designed by John Harries.
Here is their 2014 Mix Sampler, some great stuff right here and worth the time to ponder !
