The debut EP from indie rock and folk trio Sonder Saloon, “Mackinaw,”offers a mix of acoustic guitars, vocal harmonies, powerful punches, and driving banjos. The melodies are passionate and nostalgic, and reminiscent of driving through mountains or across the country. Coincidentally, Sonder Saloon recorded their EP in a secluded cabin in the Utah mountains, giving their tracks more heartfelt messages and intimate touches.
