CITY REIGN New Music
Following years of bubbling away and developing under the radar in Manchester’s rich musical swamp, City Reign burst into the open in 2013 with debut album, Another Step. Harnessing the sounds of Salford Trinity Church was producer Sam Jones (Alex Turner, Africa Express), who captured the band’s energy and intensity perfectly.
The result earned the band support from the likes of BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq, The Independent, Clash Magazine and many more.
They are now back with new single, “Sympathy.” With a full length album, Dasien to be released in early 2016. The album develops on their early promise with a maturing sound, in which the band tackle the uncertainties of modern life, and try to find meaning in the ‘every day being-there’ of existence.
