viseMénn are a southern Norwegian rock band that plays dreamy atmospheric rock. The band has existed since mid-2000s and consists of Lars Olav Mangelrød (Guitars), Helge Corneliussen (Bass/Vocals), Sølve Eggebø (Keyboards) and Magnar Lofthus (Drums).

Coming from widely different backgrounds the members met through the improvisational rock project ‘a Crack in Time and the Break of Dawn’ (founded by bassist/vocalist Helge Corneliussen). viseMénn represent an urge to explore the depths of the soul combined with sheer joy of music and a love for band life and artistic community in general.

The band is very proud to present their first official single in a planned series of releases to come. “Begging You Please” has gone through many stages of evolution and has taken many different forms. In one of its more rudimentary shapes it was picked up by photographer Joe McNally for use on YouTube and this was what led to Canadian film director and musician Richard. D. Leko discovering the creature.

Fascinated by its beauty he arranged for a music video to be made so that it could be experienced by the world. viseMénn still felt that the song needed some nurturing and took refuge in the wilderness of the deep woods of Norway and worked for many a day and many a night until exhaustion forced them to stop. They then left it in the capable hands of mix engineer Cenzo Townshend of Decoy Studios and mastering engineer Matt Colton of Alchemy Mastering who made the song shine in all its wilderness and glory. The music video will be released soon.

Ours in not the only accolades this band has received, they were the highlight of Indieweek in Toronto (2013,2015) and the International Pop Overthrow Liverpool (2014,2015), on of a few bands that successfully self-booked a “mini tour” England 2014 making them a favorite at many performance venues in the UK.
