New Album Color In The Gray Machine by Mind The Journey
Release date: January 5th, 2016

Produced by Spencer Sabo and Mastered by Tom Waltz.
Raised on a tranquilizing shoreline in Connecticut, Spencer Sabo spent his youth learning to play drums, making crazy films with his brother, and exploring his creativity. It was in High School he found likeminded peers and started playing drums in a band. This is where he began his journey of learning the ins and outs of audio production, recording and mixing the songs he created.

Spencer began experimenting in his later teens with an old keyboard, that Mind The Journey was born. Slowly but surely Spencer built up his understanding of how sounds interrelate with each other, how certain notes and chords and trigger emotions, and just how important crafting each layer of sound is. He made sure that what was in his head was the exact way his creation came out. This lead to Spencer releasing his first dreamy 8 song EP, of which gained popularity both online and in his local area, and while performing shows in the New England area.

Mr. Sabo is releasing his first 12 track album, entitled Color In The Gray Machine, which was entirely created in his personal studio. Spencer spends his days soaked in aural bliss, crafting his own breed of psychedelic music, and focused on getting his perspectives and thoughts into the world.

In review, Color In The Gray Machine is a trippy retro flashback to the conceptual and auditory expansion of the mind, with sweeping flows of music, liken to a scene at the shore, the waves sweeping in and out, catching the listener in vibrant undertows. No need for drugs or chemical stimulants with this album, it’s all inclusive and exclusively unique, the term “prog” would not do it justice, nor would comparisons, and just on its own it is sublime.
