HOT SAUCE RECORDS-SPONSORED “MUSICWORKS” SEGMENT NOMINATED FOR 52ND OHIO VALLEY REGIONAL EMMY AWARD
Hot Sauce Records is proud to announce its first Emmy nod, via their sponsorship of the “MusicWorks” segment produced by Kyle Lake and Prosper Media Group, Inc for the kNOwMORE Nonprofits Television Series.
The 2016 52nd Ohio Valley Regional Emmy Awards, take place Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Lawrenceburg Event Center in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. This is Lake’s fourth nomination for the weekly series that airs on PBS affiliate, KET. “We are so proud to announce kNOwMORE’s nomination,” says Hot Sauce Record Founder and CEO, ellee ven. “With Give Into The Groove, we have always made it a priority to support innovative arts and music education initiatives and MusicWorks is definitely one of those. Also, kNOwMORE Nonprofits has really made a difference with this series and we want to make sure that continues.”

Founded by the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestras in July 2013, North Limestone MusicWorks fosters positive youth development by providing equitable access to intense, high-quality music education for Lexington’s Northside district.
All MusicWorks students attend Arlington Elementary School, a Title 1 school where 95% of students participate in the free or reduced lunch program.
MusicWorks is an El Sistema – inspired initiative operating daily after school for 35 second, third and fourth graders who receive free instrument use and instruction from conservatory-trained active musicians.
