Spontaneity is the Spice of Life, which is what makes the Blind Lemon Peel Pop-Up Blues Festival so exciting and unpredictable. One never knows what special guest artists and/or pop-up vendors will show up!
The next Blind Lemon Peel “Monthly Third Thursday Pop-Up Blues Festival” takes place at Harvelle’s Blues Club, 201 E. Broadway in Long Beach, on Thursday, February 18 at 7 pm. In addition to the Blind Lemon Peel All-Stars, also scheduled to perform are rising SoCal/Long Beach acts, the BullDawg Blues Band; ‘old school’ singer/songwriter, Job Striles; and the Michael Mills Band. “This is the next step in fulfilling our dream to support local Blues musicians by providing exposure for Long Beach’s finest blues bands and solo artists,” states Pop-Up Blues Festival creator, David Hale.
