LISTEN TO OVERFLOW ON THE WILD HONEY PIE

Alt-electronic artist Must Be The Holy Ghost (AKA Jared Draughon) will release his sophomore EP Overflow on 9/16, but fans can hear the new record early on Soundcloud. The stream premiered at The Wild Honey Pie and includes six new tracks that were written while Draughon was touring the country.

“Performing them a bunch live helped me fine tune how I should build and loop the layers of each song and how the lyrics and melodies should be delivered in the studio,” says Draughon. “It breathes more than previous releases and it’s a better indication of what Must Be The Holy Ghost has become and how it’s evolving.“

A video for the EP’s first single “Melt Down” can be seen here and showcases Draughon’s signature live performance in which visual artist Evan Hawkins uses water and food-coloring on an overhead projector to bathe the show in swirling colors.
