SEP 16 – Equal Vision Records’ Being As An Ocean is now premiering a new song, titled “OK”, at beingasanocean.com/newsong andsoundcloud.com/equalvision.

“This song is about several important events in each our lives. It really blends things that have happened to every one of us over the past five years into a single, beautiful story that’s uniquely us,” shares Being As An Ocean. “This song musically embodies the fact that we don’t follow anyone else’s trends, and we never let anyone tell us how to write our music. We are who we are.”

Being As An Ocean is currently on a Northern American tour with The Amity Affliction. Later this year, the band will return overseas for a full EU/UK headline run with support from Burning Down Alaska, Capsize and Casey. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.

Being As An Ocean announced their signing to Equal Vision Records in February 2016, with the release of a new song and music video for“Dissolve”, which has racked up nearly 1 million views to date. This Summer, Being As An Ocean stayed in Weston Rhyn, England, near Manchester, writing and recording for their next album with producer Matt McClellan (Being As An Ocean, Capsize). Fans can expect a refreshing and dynamic twist on the band’s signature sound. They note, “We’re never going to do the same thing twice. I think that you’ll hear a lot more of an atmospheric, post-rock sound from us now, but it will absolutely still be aggressive.” The band will release their fourth full-length, and first album on EVR, next year.

Being As An Ocean is comprised of vocalist Joel Quartuccio, vocalist/guitarist Michael McGough, guitarist Tyler Ross and bassist Ralph Sica.
