This isn’t Wonderland Anymore…
The Will to Return by The White Rabbit
Ever find a band to listen to that blows you away, well, yes, you have….
What if that band was something you never expected, from a place you never thought it would come from, like a Rabbit Hole from the Internet…. a band like The White Rabbit.
The White Rabbit, a very powerful band energetic band from Israel, with a sound like System of a Down, they are surreal and strange and glorious to listen to. They fashion themselves as Progressive, Hard, Classic, Psychedelic, Metal, Rock which is true, but if you listen there is more, they sing in English on the EP The Will To Return the 2nd album, is in Hebrew, titled הארנב הלבן, which I unfortunately don’t have the ability to read, but the music is awesome, very much like early Yes, Rick Wakeman, ELP and Camel. This bnd is capable of so much harmony as well as deep grooves and hard edge guitar work.
As a Review, in short, AWESOME, pure aggressive performance playing, but lyrically deep and introspective with a message, the song Revange has a metal guitar opening then slides into a sixties organ. Then Liars Army, takes you further into the darkness only to be lifted up again by title track The Will to Return which, to me sounds like a tale of redemption. The Will To return, originally recorded in 2013 by The White Rabbit – Yuval Or – Keyboards, vocals and backing vocals, Gil Idan – Drums, Yaron Gilad – Guitars and Raz Koller – Bass, I that gem, that jewel you find in the center of the desert, that Needle in the Haystack, seriously, give it a listen today.
The Audio Links work: but for some odd reason dont show playlist, but if clicked a seperate player opens. The Videos are wicked cool.
