CASH FROM HASH is Pedro Bento. Before becoming this persona he was all about making random joking beats. Those years of just having fun, gave him the basis to start something serious. It started with Trap and the love for the TR-808, but soon he was influenced by a lot of genres that probably fit in the general Bass Music, such as Future Bass, Juke, Footwork, Crunk, Vaporwave, and Bubblegum Bass (a.k.a. PC Music). He is also djing in some clubs in Porto and he takes advantage of that, to bring to the portuguese clubs music that are not common to hear in the national club scene. Until now, he released 4 EP’s and a lot of singles, but his best work is the most recent Hot Blooded EP. The label XXIII invited him to be part of the crew and this EP was already released by them. Some months before he joined, he was invited to do a mix to their Sweetdrops’s series. He is now working on new tracks, influenced by Ball Room Music, Jersey Club, FWD, Vogue House, Break Beat, Grime, generally Bass Music.
