LETTERS TO PART SIGN TO WILHELM RECORDS

Post Rock/Ambient and Progressive/Indie 4-piece, Letters To Part, are ecstatic to announce their recent signing to Wilhelm Records and their forthcoming debut full-length entitled, A Human Curse out July 7th. Recorded at Iceman Studios, Daniel Colombo recorded, mixed and mastered the 8-track album which details struggles, whether it be from drug abuse, self mutilation, gambling, and the likes, and verdicts a story about how everyday we are living in an anxiety induced world. Lead singer Y’shua Ortiz-Escobedo expands on A Human Curse, by stating it “is a story about understanding true heartache, and trying to cope. Through vices that we all use. Off the forthcoming release, comes single, “Six Months,” a song about abusing the one you love, Escobedo-Ortiz expands, “while being torn between your past. Leaving them alone in a pregnancy that leads to a miscarriage. Adding to a human curse.” To celebrate the forthcoming record and recent release of “Six Months,” Letters To Part are hitting the road this July where they till kick off a short Florida run before making their way through the Midwest before their hometown show on July 28th in Orlando.
Sometimes from the vulnerable moments, we can capture and create something wonderful. As is the case of Orlando based Post-Rock group, Letters to Part. Initially an outlet to cope with the tragic passing of Singer/Guitarist, Y’shua Ortiz-Escobedo’s cousin in 2010, he began to find himself crafting songs that illustrated his grieving process resulting in the release of the band’s EP back in 2012. Fast forward a few years, Letters To Part, consisting of  Y’shua Ortiz-Escobedo (Singer/ Guitar), Hunter Gelsen (Guitar), Dustyn Murphy (Drums), and Chris Ramos (Bass) are thrilled to unveil their debut full-length A Human Curse out July 7, 2017 via Wilhelm Records.
Fans can be on the lookout for more music to come soon!
