AcidTrip TAMO

AcidTrip is an aspiring independent hiphop recording artist from Charlotte, NC. Music is his life, even when he was in the negative phase of his life he still confided in music. Through life’s lessons and balance the hardships allowed AcidTrip to evolve for the better. AcidTrip focused on the messages in his music instead of the distractions and started getting more opportunities. He had a photo shoot with Rolling Stone Magazine’s Gary Ryan. Not to mention his EP LAZULi was featured on HotNewHipHop, ThisIs50, SwayInTheMorning and numerous other hiphop blog sites.

He even has a single with Mick Jenkins which he released on his EP “NaZaLee”. Two  of his EP’s are available on Spotify, iTunes, google play, and other major platforms.

AcidTrip’s sound could be compared to an elevated conscious & psychedelic euphoria of higher frequencies which he calls “Ascension Music”. His lyrical consistency and high quality work is what separates him from his peers. AcidTrip’s purpose is to inspire change, master his craft, and stay true to himself. AcidTrip is an embodiment of the psychedelic & divergent soul but still sheds light on harsh truths. The essence of his music is the message. AcidTrip’s music is truly an intoxicating experience any open mind can appreciate.

AcidTrip never seems to take a break. He is closing the year out with “The TAMO Tape”  This EP is definitely nothing less than greatness. The production alone is immaculate and the wordplay is incredible. The vibe of this project is a lot more relaxed than his previous work. This is a more in depth look at “TAMO”, AcidTrip’s higher self, or as some would call it an alter ego. AcidTrip stays true to his “Ascension Music” theme with this album because there is a lot of food for thought. The melodies are more diverse for each other yet the messages are still personal. There are 2 features on this EP and they both compliment the sound well. “The TAMO Tape” is a beautiful way to end the year.
