Frosty Unveil Debut Album
Frosty is the self-titled debut of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Claire Hecko.
Hecko’s previous projects include Warren Jackson Hearne (Denton, TX), Mercat (Brooklyn, NY) and Princess Pangolin (Los Angeles, CA). Claire currently serves as bassist and violist for critically acclaimed musician, Clint Niosi (Fort Worth, TX), and is one half of the ambient / noise duo, Nightly Closures.
Frosty was conceived and written by Hecko while living in Los Angeles. She later connected with Fort Worth musician and producer Clint Niosi, who agreed to provide guitar and drums, as well as produce the album. Frosty explores themes of isolation, loneliness, disquiet, and the consciously made choices that invite these conditions. Hecko’s musical influences include Earth, Swans, and Neurosis.
Frosty will be released on limited edition cassette by Psychic Mule (Brooklyn, NY). Look for Frosty in stores or on your favorite streaming application (frosty.bandcamp.com, Spotify, Itunes, etc.) on November 30th 2017.
