IndieShout Out: Darko Richards

We got his email…. Very minimalist….

“Thank you for what you’re doing for upcoming artists

I was hoping to submit this track for your IndieShout Out.

Thank you so much for your time.”

So, we followed the links…. THIS GUY IS AWESOME!

Darko Richards’ debut album, Point of Departure, is a cinema-inspired journey that blends electronic-rock, synthwave componets, and cinematic themes.

Throughout the album, listeners will appreciate influences that range from synthwave artists such as Carpenter Brut and Kavinsky, to popular electronic-rock acts such as Muse and Radiohead.

Darko Richards’ electric rock guitar is at the forefront of his compositions and perhaps his most distinctive element, exposing his background as a lead rock guitarist.

Point of Departure is a highly personal work for Darko Richards in which, fascinated by all elements of psychology in film and music, he explores all aspects of his psyche. An album rich with variety and themes, Point of Departure offers 50 minutes of music that seamlessly merges many different popular genres, resulting in a unique sound that will appeal to audiences familiar with synthwave and eletronic-rock alike.
