Artist Spotlight: Jake Brewer

IndiePulse Music Magazine would like to Introduce to you Jake Brewer, Pop Singer/Songwriter and Actor from San Francisco, California.

Jake Brewer found his passion for performing arts during his fifth grade musical. Since then, he’s taken various dance classes, performed at showcases, learned guitar, picked up piano, took a few singing lessons, and has gone on to release Lucky I Am, his debut album that within months of release achieved 100,000+ streams on Spotify.

He first took to YouTube in 2014 by covering some of his favorite songs. During his years on YouTube, he’s expanded his JakeBrewerMusic channel to show his audience and viewers more of his personality to bring them into his world of songwriting and musical production. Now, with over 70,000 views, Jake continues using YouTube to promote his work on more platforms.

During his rise on social media and YouTube, Jake was also participating in films and web series to expand his acting resume. Now, in 2018, Jake is gearing up for the release of his sophomore album, Landscapes, through a series of EP releases – Ocean in January, Desert in April, and Forest in June.

The full sophomore album is set to be released in August, with a headlining tour this summer in support of the project. He is currently studying journalism and political science at Boston University.
