“MEMORIES OF A THIRD PLANET”

FIRST SINGLE FROM NEW EP THE VOICE REMAINS – OUT JUNE 2018

LA-based multifaceted artist, Nir Yaniv, releases his new sci-fi animated video “Memories of a Third Planet,” his first single from his debut EP The Voice Remains. The Grateful Web premiered his video and described the music as “energetic and meditative, but never loses its basic underlying happiness.” The video is the first of a series of six videos to be released by Yaniv, one for each of the six tracks on his EP, The Voice Remains, which comes out on June 15, 2018.

Illustrated and animated by Yaniv himself, the video tells a story of a small flying robot orb traveling across the universe seeking the source of a sound he hears that emanates from a small “speaker child.” Five more videos are to follow that continue the story of these two fictional characters. The entire EP uses only vocals by Nir, all manipulated and looped to sound like various instruments, and drums performed by Israeli musician, Karen Teperberg.
