IndiePulse Album Review: Mr. Telephone / ISO EP
Album Review By Joseph Timmons
Mr. Telephone / ISO EP
Released on Reel Too Real Records
Out of the Garage and the dark, dank sweat drown Punk Dungeons of London Ontario creep the self-proclaimed “Post Punk” group Isolation Party, as an homage to the old School Punk Brigades of my youth, my heyday of mile high Mohawks and Safety Pin pierced noses.
And they sort of look like The Young Ones,
Which is Rick, Which is Vivian, Which in Neal, Which is Mike?
You Decide !
Listening to this EP release, sent to us on the 2nd coolest format ever, The Cassette Tape (man these guys rule), this album is a great kick off to a future of Punk Stardom, The album Mr. Telephone / ISO is real Hardcore Punk, Not Over Distorted, but really “dirty” and packed with punch and power, musically top notch in composition, no over sampled vocals, “clean” in a filthy sort of fashion, these “gits” are the real deal, full London Monty, and they look sort of like someone you would see hanging out behind CBGBs, itching to play, cause a fight, or both.
This is definitely one of the best send in submissions I have gotten, great listen and you can POGO in your Jack Boots without looking goy.
Cheers Mates, you’re a winner right!
