Mack J. Tone. Music Producer, Rapper and Singer, presently in San Diego, CA, began his career making beats and scoring music when he was 16 years old. He started putting beats on Youtube, selling them to rappers and musicians.
As he grew older he took some time off from the music to go to college, and enlist into the Navy at 18 years old. Now, at 21 years of age and still serving his country, through his life experiences he always found himself going back to the music. “Music is something that I am passionate about. I love making it” says Mack J. Tone.
Listening to his work, it is obvious he has not only a natural talent for his craft, but his genius, which is ever growing in his works, expands the mind of the listener. The flow of his beats and the energy inherent in the music itself is awe inspiring. Here is his Soundcloud, hear for yourself how hypnotic and passionate is music is.
Listening, his lyrics speak clearly, but, unlike some of the presently “Pop-Hip-Hop” Rappers we hear, his lyrics do not advocate violence, but send a strong message of self, ambition and commemorate to his childhood, Mack J. Tone reflected on his childhood, and here we see why he has his dedications – “Growing up wasn’t always easy, my mom struggled to take care of me and my two younger brothers by herself. It was tough to pay bills, put food on the table but my mom always made it happen.”
In our Interview with the artist, we got some background on his life, his work and where he plans to take his dream.
