Korean songs have been gaining popularity day by day, with millions of fans all around the world. K-pop, short for Korean pop music has become a global phenomenon because of its addictive melodies, production, and perfect choreography. Korean artists have boosted South Korea’s music industry impressively since past many years. Korean music has three categories including traditional Korean folk music, popular music, and non-popular music influenced by West.

The most prominent music of Korea is K-Pop that has been existing for three decades now. Here is a list of 7 best Korean songs of all time.

Sorry, Sorry – Super Junior

It is a K-pop classic, and every person might have heard this song once in their life subconsciously. “Sorry, Sorry” was one of the very first tracks that had heavy electronic beat tuned with an urban r&b feel that seemed to work perfectly for the group. This song earned the group not only a Triple Crown, but they also succeeded in other countries such as the Philippines.

Gee – Girl’s Generation

Gee marked an important moment for girls as they took the mantle back that had been dominated by men for so long. Managed by SM, SNSD used “Gee” and broke the previous record of number 1 on KBS music bank. The track received around ten wins, and the group managed to stay on the top of charts for almost two months.

Lollipop – Big Bang & 2NE1

YG groups’ most memorable track has got to be Lollipop. The pop electro-music track became as what could be referred to as a meme of the century. This song shows how K-Pophas the ability to evolve and be experimental in all regards.

BTS: “Fire”

Just like its name, “Fire” by BTS is full of energy and the chorus makes you want to dance to the beat. The choreography is also amazing to watch.

INFINITE: “The Chaser”

If you are not into K-Pop, this song will get you hooked on the beats as it reaches a whole another level. If you have not heard “The Chaser” yet, it is highly recommended.

BIGBANG: “Fantastic Baby”

If you listen to K-Pop, you have probably heard of Fantastic Baby. Artists around the world have recognized this song, and that says all about its popularity. This track has even appeared in Glee and the trailer of Pitch Perfect 2. Though the song got out five years ago, its music will never get old.

Nobody – Wonder Girls

This song is loved by people from all walks of life whether they are children, young people, adults, or elders. The biggest evidence of its popularity is that it ranked as number 1 on the Billboard and it was also the first k-pop song to go to billboard hot top 100.

Korean songs never get old, and their beat is what you need. These seven songs somehow land on the top of the list for best Korean songs.
