THE INDICA GALLERY Releases New Single ‘FOREVER LOVING YOU’
Psychedelic-quintet ‘The Indica Gallery’ recently released their new single ‘Forever Loving You’ on 20th April 2018. The melodic hooks within their music create the mysterious psychedelic style and combined with a solid consistent drum beat, elements of the pop genre can be noticed.
In Review: Forever Loving You by The Indica Gallery is a big love filled throwback to the masters that would plant the seeds for the multitude of new music genres to blossom from the Social, Cultural, Sexual and Philosophical Revolutions of the Mid to Late 60’s. lyrically consistent with modern topics yet composed musically in a traditionally “Psychedelia” sense, Forever Loving You by The Indica Gallery is a bold, refreshing and oh so hip track for today, it has a groove that sends you back in time and just as rewarding, brings you back-forward to today. This is the first of hopefully many great new soundscapes from this band.
Based in Liverpool the 5 piece met whilst studying music at university. Their well-crafted songs and tasteful instrumentation are a cornerstone of The Indica Gallery’s unique and inspiring sound. With influences like The Beatles, their music offers a sonic palette which daringly aims towards the future, whilst wearing the past firmly on its sleeve.
The release of their first single ‘Forever Loving You’ hints at a skewed romanticism of the ongoing hardship of a tainted love. Recorded in various studios at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, a distinctive production style was discovered creating a warm emotion within the track. Taking inspiration from Mac Demarco and The Babe Rainbow, the single is effectively brought into the 21st century.
