An adventurous sound is coming from modern country artists, blending the traditional and modern country music sound with eclectic personal stylings, one such artist is C.K. Flach and his group C.K. & The Rising Tide.
C.K. & The Rising Tide have released their first “Official” album, ‘American Romance‘ which is presently available now on Bandcamp and through their website, as well as other online distributors. ‘American Romance‘ is a beautifully composed and produced album of the groups vision of the music that is a foundation of this counties lifestyle, rooted in tradition yet ever changing sometimes soft and flowing, sometimes gritty and harsh, much like life itself.
I truly believe that C.K. & The Rising Tide sing and play from the heart, weaving stories and the art of storytelling into a new and more modern approach to making statements and singing to the raw emotion that makes country a loved and enduring music medium. Theirs is the vision of the dream of life, the songs of the heartlands of America as seen and sung by today’s American voices, today’s Country, these songs our ours to love.
C.K. & The Rising Tide is an alt. country/folk rock band hailing from Albany, NY. Poet C.K. Flach is joined by bassist Chris Brant, violin and keys player Danny Boudreau, drummer Devin Kaminski and lead guitarist Daniel Tucker. C.K. released his first solo album ‘Empty Mansions’ in early 2016, after garnering success on his own he began searching for potential band-mates to grow the sound he was trying to cultivate. Choosing to record on their own in an upstate log cabin, the band put their noses to the grindstone and put together an album of insightful, clever, honest and meaningful songs that are rooted in folk-rock and venture into both the indie rock and country spectrums.
The album ‘American Romance’ is sure to captivate listeners by ushering them into unfamiliar lyrical realms and at the same time reminding them of home. C.K. & The Rising Tide is a band that brings a unique vision and feel to their genre.
