KINDRED Release New Album IMAGES
Six piece Folk/Rock band Kindred who hail from Somerset, infuse a comprehensive mix of alt rock instruments and folk vocals on their newest EP release Images.
Without pinning down any specific artist influences or comparisons, Kindred stand alone with their unique Folk imbued sound. Comprising of six accomplished musicians and the songwriting of guitarist Scottie, Kindred have no problem delivering four individually beguiling tracks. Filled with composite textures, engaging vocal lines and controlled yet equally complex rhythm sections, Images delivers as expected.
Both the songwriting and compositional aspects of Images have been scrutinised by Kindred, this attention to detail transposes easily and is showcased well across all four songs on the EP. After their previous 10-track album ‘Our Tomorrow’ was met with online and local acclaim including downloads across 22 countries, Images showcases the development of Kindred as a band. Having previously supported The Wurzels in concert alongside a host of live performances in the past and upcoming, Kindred are no strangers to the live circuit.
Equipped with an aesthetic website and a growing online presence, paired with a host of upcoming performances, Kindred are working hard to solidify themselves within the market. The quality of the recording, arrangement of the songs and the lyrical content of Images, bear the makeup of a radio ready EP. Images is available to stream and download via all major platforms now, with a number of live performances planned throughout the Summer to support their EP release, including a performance at Godney Gathering music festival on 21st July.
