Wish i knew how to describe this. Not very good with sub dub electronic genres. All i know is i’d love to hear this on a huge system it’d have me desperately trying to find out who made it and where i could get it.
Sounds like it was recorded in a dustbin + searing psych guitars and muffled vocals. Did they make this specifically for bottom of the pops.. we love it.
5 Twink – Three Little Piggies (455)
Early 70’s Ladbroke underground madness.. forgot how good the Twink album was.
6 Cordovas – Frozen Rose(527)
We think they may have a bit of Gram in their record collections. But it has to be said they’ve been listening properly.
Electro kuduro action is the best way to describe this one , unless we’re getting so old we’re totally off the mark.. “Are you ready….sorry not speaking English.. wu wu..wu wu..”
After the Velvets and before the Modern Lovers & The Ramones are lost NYC cult band Hackamore Brick with a sound that has elements of all 3 and we reckon a young Feelies must have come across them around the traps as well. Top stuff.
Every now and then we break our not over a 1000 plays rule. This is a case in hand and you’ll know why when you hear. Almost like a blues based Peaking Lights.. fucking brilliant.
