Since the beginning of music, rock n’ roll has set the standard for top-shelf live performances, with band members constantly pushing the boundaries between safe and insane. Rock n’ roll group Pröwess continues to push that border, from bassist Kenny Keeler mounting whichever highest surface is available to vocalist Dalton Bowes seducing the audience with his mic stand. Fear is far from the minds of Pröwess members in live performances, even when one tour night ended with their RV being hi-jacked with the band inside.
Back in January, Pröwess’ RV was stolen in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania during loadout on the third day of their winter tour. On board were various band and crew members, family members and friends. The band’s trailer was open and dragged for three miles, splaying equipment across the highway. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in the incident, the suspect was detained, and it went down as a berserk night in Pröwess tour history. Garnering national media attention including Alternative Press and Metal Injection, the event inspired the band to record a live EP dedicated to the insane stories from the road,Roll’n With the Punches.
Featuring two new songs and live versions of “Let It Ride” and hit single “No Survivors”, with a bonus acoustic track “Show Me…Again”, the EP features emotional group vocals as vocalist Dalton Bowes showcases Pröwess’ ability to quite literally “roll with the punches”. After the world watched Pröwess continue the winter tour without missing a single date, it became clear that this is a rock n’ roll band that can’t be stopped. While they lost some gear from the incident, the band got it fixed and lived to tell the tale.
Recently awarded fan-voted “The Best Song” from the 2018 Banger Music Awards for single “Show Me” from debut EP Headfirst, Pröwess continues to be an explosive manifestation of the rock genre itself. Amping up fans country-wide, the band of raw, memorable talent sees major fan interaction across their social media platforms from across the globe, and show no signs of slowing down as they lead the modern rock n’ roll scene. From fans donating $3500 in 5 hours to pay for an emergency surgery for a band member to their highly interactive Pröwess Tribe fan page, this band has a pure, impressive following while only having released two EPs.
With “Show Me” spinning on radio nation-wide, Pröwess is a hard-hitting name you will not soon forget if you catch a show.
