Brian Hutson’s new single, Habit, is being released this Labor Day, accompanied by a very edgy, 50 Shades-esque music video shot in Las Vegas.

The new single Habit by Brian Hutson is a Rhythmic, Pop filled masterpiece and will set the city lit nights on fire, sexy and sensual with a bit of an edgy tension. We see and hear great things coming from this artist.

Habit takes Brian’s pop roots and adds a layer of introspection and frailty rarely seen on top 40 in 2018. “I could see through the recording of This Is It, Brian was becoming more comfortable with himself. This Is It is truly a coming out party for him and Habit is that first step,” said producer Joe Vulpis (Lady Gaga), who originally discovered Hutson singing Michael Bublé’s Everything at Hutson’s office holiday party.

Raised in New York’s Hudson Valley and currently residing in New York City, Brian’s passion for singing began at a young age and has led him to work across a broad range of vocal repertoires, spanning pop, rock, easy listening, jazz, Broadway, classical, and opera. Brian’s talents for singing were recognized at age 12 by the director of his school choir, who encouraged him to progress to select and regional choirs as well as adjudicated solo singing.

While pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics, Brian set his sights on learning new vocal repertoires, including opera, classical, and jazz, and pursued private vocal lessons to develop his craft. After graduation, Brian began working on Wall Street, balancing the demands of his job with time for his creative outlet – singing and songwriting.

Known for mixing pop hooks and accessible lyrics with his rich voice, Brian Hutson first made waves in 2015 with his first single Let It Ride. Premiering at 48 on the Adult Contemporary Top 200 and peaking at number five, Let It Ride stayed on the AC Top 200 chart for ten consecutive weeks. The last unsigned artist to do this was the Goo Goo Dolls 20 years prior with the single Name.

In 2017 Brian released the critically lauded EP Midnight Sessions. In the words of HuffPost’s Randy Radic, “Midnight Sessions delivers marvelous melodies and simmering rhythms, while Brian Hutson’s voice is the scrumptious frosting on the musical cake, rife with savory textures, colors and moods.

With over 160,000 Spotify streams, the appeal of Midnight Sessions has been recognized by the public as well as critics and, according to Mindi McCall of No Depression: The Journal of Roots Music, “This first sustained musical work from a talented vocalist and songwriter heralds the arrival of a new force and harbors enormous potential to do much more than merely carve out a reputation as a critical darling.”
