MANSUN/PAUL DRAPER NEWSLETTER – FESTIVAL NO.6, ACOUSTIC TOUR, SIX

We’ve got an exciting few weeks coming up as former Mansun frontman Paul Draper and his band head out to play Festival No.6 on Friday 7th. It’s the first solo festival performance ever for Paul and he’ll be playing a mix of Mansun and solo tracks including songs from SIX for the first time with his new band on the 20th anniversary day of it’s original release.

Also, we have a sold-out warm up show the day before at the Trades Club in Hebden Bridge and Paul and the band are really looking forward to getting back on the road, meeting fans and playing some great shows.

Paul appeared on Steve Lamaq’s 6 Music Roundtable show last night. You can listen back here to hear views on new releases and Paul talk about upcoming plans for his solo work and Mansun re-issues.

In other news, Mansun’s new label Kscope have started work on a re-issue of Mansun’s second album SIX and Paul is helping out again and we’ll keep you updated with plans over the coming months.
