Lo-fi Psych Rock meets Berlin Electronics in debut “Scar Polish” video
Following a number of prominent shows and session appearances this year, Scar Polish, moniker to British-born musician Robin Fisher, has announced the release of his debut single and video.
“Protein Coated Sadness” treads the line between lo-fi psychedelic rock and gritty electronica, accompanied by an epileptic display of VHS-eroded surrealistic imagery.
Drawing influence from Animal Collective, No Age, Beach Fossils and the like, Fisher’s genre-melding sound has been generating buzz in the city with his visceral live performances.
The single precedes the upcoming release of Scar Polish’s debut EP on Berlin/Barcelona/London linked label Octubre.tv.
