THE DLX is the energetic, off-the-wall pop brainchild of award-winning singer-songwriter Shawn Chambliss. THE DLX was created as an all inclusive group, bringing fans, crew, and everyone else who comes across Chambliss’s music together. It’s a reminder that everyone is important, unique— DELUXE. We are very excited to announce that THE DLX is releasing its next single “Problems” Friday, October 5, 2018. This is the third single from the upcoming EP, set to release next year.

Bright, vibrant and deep in meaning, “Problems” reaches deep into an emotional platform lacking from most of the new music that is hitting the mainstream, but Shawn Chambliss a.k.a THE DLX is undaunted to bring reality to the new music scene. with flow and hooks that touch, “Just some people in the wrong place at the right time” is a phrase that hits in the heart and tells in itself a story of love and disappointment, but also shows respect, voicing personal pain without shame or shaming … a sign of real talent an skillful songwriting.

Following two popular singles, “IDK” and “Two Kids”, “Problems” is the next single from an upcoming EP set to release next year.

Based in Mississippi, Chambliss uses his southern roots and combines them with influences that span across genres to create a sound that is truly unique and songs that resonate with all audiences.

“Problems” is the next in succession track to “IDK” and “Two Kids”, two singles that have generated over 1 million streams across all music platforms in 2018. This single promises an upbeat addition to the upcoming EP.

When talking about the new track, “The song tells a story of a relationship doomed from the start,” says Chambliss of the new release, “and it’s a song that everyone can get behind because we all have problems- whether it’s in relationships or not- and that’s okay! My hope is that we can all unite in singing that chorus loudly because none of us have it all figured out, and that’s perfectly fine.”

Shawn has won over his hometown of Hattiesburg, receiving 4 Best of the Pine Belt awards since 2015, including Best Artist, Best Album, and Song of the Year for “Two Kids”.
