Madyx Rocks LA Music Scene with New Music

Madyx is the Alt-Pop brainchild of singer/songwriter and guitarist Michelle Blanchard. Madyx blends touches of P!nk (not just in her hair!) and Katy Perry with diverse influences ranging from Brody Dalle of The Distillers to Melissa Etheridge.

Blanchard’s heartfelt and socially relevant lyrics matched with an undeniably infectious style of production will catch the attention of fans from all ages and backgrounds.

The five song debut EP was recorded with GRAMMY nominated producer Brian Howes (Daughtry, Simple Plan, Hedley) in Los Angeles and is now available for listening on Madyx’s SoundCloud page  and on iTunes along with her latest single “Where the Wild Things Are”!

In Review: with the release of the new single “Girl Boy“, Michelle Blanchard and Madyx set the pace for the new voices of youth that seek to give a definitive “I Am I”, making statement and validity to their self image and making their mark on today’s radically changing social structure, taking the haze out of the constantly shifting and blurred lines. With No Excuse or Apologies, Madyx makes it clear with bold and upfront commentary what the youth movement is thinking in relation to being self aware and self expressive.
