The Self-Titled Release “BRENT BARKER” Is #4 Most Added At NACC Loud Rock Radio & #5 Most Added At Metal Contraband.
In Review: the self titled EP “BRENT BARKER” is a phenomenal “Phoenix” offering by an artists that never left, but instead took time to write an album that had something significant to say, loaded with powerful tracks and stunning talent, Guitar Riffs that blaze and the die hard rock tone that the music scene has been missing and now, has back to love and enjoy. I use the term “Phoenix” metaphorically, rising up from the ashes of a bland and dying music scene, bursting out and setting everything on fire, seriously wicked work from a master performer.
Now, with all the adulation and that I Have gotten all the “Oh My God This Is Awesome Wicked Rock” out of my system, the EP “BRENT BARKER” offers fans new and old a chance to experience some high quality talent, Brent has created a sonic masterpiece that just makes you move at high speed, this is cruising tunes and each note is perfectly placed for your pleasure.
After years lending his talents to others’ projects, guitar virtuoso Brent Barker has found success with his self-titled debut EP. The instrumental album, which was released last month, is currently the #4 Most Added At NACC Loud Rock Radio & #5 Most Added At Metal Contraband.
Enlisting renowned musicians Chris Frazier (legendary drummer for Steve Vai) and Brad Lang (former bassist for Y&T) to provide the backbeat to his signature guitar style, Barker described his first effort as a “musical journey with no language barriers.” The EP was recorded at the iconic Blackbird Studio in Nashville, TN and produced and engineered by Grammy Award Winner David Thoener (ACDC, Aerosmith, Santana).
As an phenomenal treat for our readers and Guitar Rock fans, IndiePulse Music has an Exclusive First Look at a Newly Released Video for the Instrumental Powerhouse Track “Horizon“, the first track on the “Brent Barker” release.
“The Brent Barker album is the 5th most added album to rock and metal radio this week according to Metal Contraband, the 4th most added according to NACC Loud Rock and the ONLY independent release on the Top Ten most added,” said Barker. “This would not be possible without the great talents on the record including David Thoener, Brad Lang, Chris Frazier, Lowell Reynolds, Ben Becker.”
The album is also resonating with industry professionals and critics. In fact, Anthony Scaltz from Fret Buzz says, “Brent’s approach to the rock instrumental idiom is both fresh and in honor of the giants of the past. His phrasing is smooth with hints of blazing technicality, two ingredients guaranteed to cement Brent Barker as one of the new trailblazers of the electric guitar.”
The self titled album “Brent Barker“ is available for download on all major digital retailers or through Barker’s web site at https://www.brentbarkermusic.com.
