Jason Robert & “Mr. Bell” – New Video Out Now

“Mr Bell” is the first single off the upcoming acoustic LP by Jason Robert. The Video was shot on location in Bodie California. Bodie is an abandoned gold mining town (rumored to be haunted) north of the Eastern Sierra’s on the California and Nevada border near Mammoth Lakes.

“Mr. Bell” by Jason Robert is a spooky and Haunting track, story of a town doomed to last forever in that place between worlds, not daylight, not night time, neither Living nor Dead, but a Phantom Town upon the landscape of eternity, forever cursed.

The town, now a state park, is kept in “arrested decay” which means it has been reinforced but never renovated.

Among the towns rich history is the legend of Lester F Bell, town banker and villain.

Roberts song Mr. Bell seemingly interprets the mood and desperation of Bodie in its heyday.
