Come And Get It – IndiePulse Reviews new album by Americana Kitchen
Americana Kitchen, an “American Roots Music” ensemble of talented and unique artists have created an album that has been described as “a truly American mixing bowl of music” taking it’s influences from Blues, Jazz, Rock, Swing, Funk, Pop and more. This collective of artists come from California’s San Gabriel Valley an Greater Los Angeles areas, but is a perfect sampling of music’s natural trend to balance old and new, contemporary with experimental and classic tempos with provocative modern creativity.
At present, considering themselves a “Studio Band Only”, I would love to say we need more groups like this, large ensemble groups that thrive on the excitement of creation and have a chemistry that entertains on a grand scale. All musicians who participated in this recording project are now all “honorary members” of The Americana Kitchen Band, which include but are not limited to the enigmatic and enormous talents of Danny Johnson, Francesca Capasso, Jumpin Jack Benny Cortez, Michael Sanchez, Michelle Sanchez, Ray Aguilar, Michael Leisure, Sammy Avila, Gino Matteo, John Avila, Andeee Avila, Johnny Main’ Danny Avila and Big Mike Vasquez.
“Come And Get It” released on the Junk-Records label is an album that captures a wealth of talent, it is a soundscape of genius performance, it is robust, entertaining and has something for everyone that is sure to please, not a still foot in the house, and the grooves just make you want to dance your troubles away.
This album really pulls you into a world of musical appreciation and love for the crafting of songs that feature creativity, talent and lyrical superiority, it needs to be heard, experienced and will be enjoyed.
