About…The New Blues Festival

New Blues Festival enters its sixth year in existence in 2019, making it one of the longest, consecutive-running festivals in Southern California. Yearly attendance has grown exponentially each year, with close to 8,000 attendees both days at the 2018 NBF this past Labor Day weekend.

“Los Angeles and Orange Counties have responded very well to the (New Blues Festival) concept. Past New Blues Festival headliners include 2017 Grammy winner, Bobby Rush; Grammy nominee, vocalist Janiva Magness; one of the blues biggest female guitarists, Ana Popovic; Stray Cat member, Lee Rocker; legendary SoCal-based harpist-vocalist, James Harman; famed SoCal jazz/blues chanteuse, Barbara Morrison; plus the best young up-and-coming blues artists, such as the Chase Walker Band and Ray Goren.
