Shattered Metal band out of Tampa, Florida area and founded in 2014 is very hard to describe. The type of metal they perform is a mix of Hardcore, Thrash, Death Metal and a old school yet has a new and unique twist. Everyone in the band are veteran musicians and bring that special dynamics to the band that makes us so unique.

their first cd called “PRIDE” was released October 4th 2017 which was delayed from a setback of losing members, and having to copyright their songs & band name before completion. Shattered has shared the stage with many national acts and looking for our big break in the industry. Not signed with a record label at the moment, you can find their Music on most media sites and can purchase in their web store.

IPM: What inspired you to write music like you do?

We reason we write the way we do is our mutual love for heavy music that makes you feel emotion and wanting to create something new that Boone has heard before.

IPM: Tell us about the other members of the band, and of your chemistry.

First we have Tony Pettry. guitar/backup vocals and founder of Shattered. Tony Weaver. Lead guitar, Shawn Conner on drums, Jonathan Warrington on bass, and finally Fred Verret on lead vocals. We all try to maintain a positive attitude when we are working together, which helps us focus to tighten up our writing process and stage performance.

IPM: What are or were some of the challenges for you in producing or performing while keeping true to your vision of your music.

We have been very fortunate that we all have similar but very different tastes in our progression, allowing for the most organic flow possible. Everyone in this camp is a professional and a veteran ,every note just falls into place.

IPM: Tell us about some of your recent shows / performances.

The show that stands out to me is when Shattered opened up for Nile and Overkill. We were the second opening band and we had gotten an encore. We were very honored.

IPM: Any Albums coming out soon or shows you are looking to promote?

We are currently in studio writing our sophomore album Skinwalker, we are aiming to have it out by Summer 2019. Next show we are headlining The Brass mug, Tampa FL. On march 22.

IPM: Any “strange tales” or things that may have happened during a show that seemed too weird to be true?

Only crazy thing I can remember is our last show the power went out about four times during our set and we didn’t miss a beat.

IPM: Where do you see your music going, where would you like to be in the near future, goals, dreams and passions?

We are going full steam ahead. To spread our music far and wide on the road, and get some new tunes for you guys!9. Our music is for anyone who loves fast paced melodic metal with Death growls. We have a full stage show ,lights how and our mascot werewolf Leonard. You will not be disappointed!

IPM: What would you like our readers to know about you.

Shattered is very unique from most metal bands from how all our music styles blend together that make us stand out.
