After Elmer releases New Year’s hangover-song ‘Buckets’ with animated clip

It’s January 1st 2019, You wake up on a couch that’s not yours, your shoes, friends and credit card are lost and next to you is a bucket that you’d rather not look in to – although the smell tells you enough.

It’s parties like these that inspired After Elmer’s new track ‘Buckets’: a hangover-single in the purest form, which doesn’t try to cover up the tragedies, but makes them a little bit easier to overcome. With the song comes an animated video, which dresses the grey suburbs of Rotterdam with happy pencil-animations, which include Darth Vader, Tarzan and The Mummy.

Last November, the band shared their debut songs ‘Afraid To Ask/Report Cards’, which drew attention from blogs from The Netherlands, Australia and the USA. These days the band is in the studio working on new material which can be expected sooner or later.
