Following the destructive Paradise, CA fires, former Paradise high school chorus director Sam Gronseth gathered students from five Butte County schools to form the Butte Strong United Choir.

The group was created in an effort use the power of music to heal their communities. Gronseth and half of his former students lost their homes, neighborhoods and musical instruments. Now, more than 100 of them will travel to Anaheim, California to perform in unity and sing at The NAMM Show, prior to a performance by pop/blues rocker Elle King.

The choir will sing a special version of “You Will Be Found” from the Tony Award-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen.

The choir is made up of students from Achieve High School, Chico High School, Inspire School of Arts and Sciences, Paradise High School and Pleasant Valley High School.

Performance will be on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the NAMM Yamaha Grand Plaza Outdoor Stage, Convention Way between the Hilton Anaheim and Anaheim Marriott hotels at The Anaheim Convention Center, 800 W Katella Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92802. The Stage is Open to the public as many of the other great events planned for the communities enjoyment.
