Miami metal breakouts Acaediahave debuted their new music video for “Headstrong”.

The band spoke exclusively to Metal Insider, to discuss the new track.

“Headstrong” is out now via iTunes and Spotify.

Since the release of 2015’s Dawning, Florida’a Acaedia has continued to hone a unique and multi-faceted brand of metal. Exploring a range of sounds and influences from across heavy music, Acaedia blends Djent, post-hardcore and death metal, cataloging a tenacious and impactful delivery, underpinned by big melodies and pinpoint riffs.

Boasting over 850K streams on Spotify, a spot on Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart & live accomplishments including a set at the Vans’ Warped Tour, Acaedia’s promise continues to be felt across the US. The band’s explosive cover of hit single “Despacito“, has proved a particular hit, racking up 7 million views on social media and seeing coverage from media giants such as CNN and Huffington Post. Acaedia’s accomplished mastery of the pop classic proved no surprise, with their versatility and dexterous collection of styles.

The band’s latest EP, Void showed further progress, teaming with award-winning producer Andrew Wade (A Day to Remember, Neck Deep, Wage War) for another promising display of shattering breakdowns and resonating instrumental work.
